Kartik

Kartik or कात्तिक or कार्तिक is a seventh month of Nepali Calendar which lies between second half of October and first half of November month. This is the month of second Biggest festival Tihar. People who celebrate Tihar festival seems busy returning home and shopping. Kukur Tihar, Kaag Tihar, Laxmi Puja, Gobardhan Puja, Bhaitika, Mha puja are the festivals of Tihar that usally lies in the month of Kartik. Kartik month consists of either 29 or 30 days. This month lies in the Autumn season or Sharad Ritu in Nepali. The weather is cool in Kartik with a little cold. There is very low to no rainfall in this month in Nepal. In this month people are busy in harvesting popular food crop rice in Nepal.
