Nepali New Year

Nepali New year is celebrated on the Baisakh month of Bikram sambat calendar. The Nepali New year starts exactly in the middle of April month of the gregorian calendar.

Nepali New year lies in the spring season where there are lots of Laligurans flower in the hilly and mountainous regions.

People visit to the cool places to celebrate new year such as Nagarkot, Pokhara, Daman, Dhulikhel etc. Pokhara seems most crowdy during this day. There is a public holiday in the new year of Nepal.

This is the time to make new year resolutions. Many people start new and good work habbits and plan to leave bad habbits on this day.
