Sharawan

Shrawan or साउन or श्रावण is a fourth month of Nepali Calendar which lies between second half of July and first half of August. There are no specific public holiday in the month of Shrawan. However some festivals such as Saune Sankranti, lutofalne din and Khir Khane din is celebrated on first and 15th of Shrawan month respectively. Shrawan month consists of either 31 or 32 days. This month lies in the Rainy season or Barsha Ritu in Nepali. The weather is hot in Shrawan with plenty rainfall. In this month the monsoon continues.
