Womens day or Nari diwas is celebrated in Nepal on 8 March on the month of Falgun. Nepal is far long way on the matter of gender equality. Even today son is admitted to Boarding school(High quality education) and daughter to government school(low quality education). The total population of Womens in Nepal are higher than that of mens. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is the first women president of Nepal. People in Nepal have a thinking of gender inequality even today that needs to be changed.Hinduism respect women as a goddess and worship in the name of god like Kumari. However, hindu countries are found to be dangerous to women. Like India and even Nepal. Women cannot freely walk in the evening and night time unlike western developed countries. People who do not consider women as same level as men are not likely to be called as human being.
